Shenkman Hall Dorm Reviews at GWU

Shenkman has been a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hallways are clean as well. The location is spectacular and the views are amazing. There are plenty of study rooms as well as multiple dining options in the building's basement.

Shenkman Hall is super nice. Each room has its own bathroom. The building is fairly queen and very nice. The location is the best on campus and it's well known around campus as the nicest dorm. The facilities are great and the staff in residence has always been super helpful to me.

It has been a good experience overall. The only small irritation is a smell that sometimes comes from the drain in the bathrooms. The kitchen space is perfect for two people. I would recommend living here to other GW students.

I've been assigned to Shenkman Hall for 2 years now and I believe it's one of the best dorms on campus! That being said, it is smaller and more cramped than District House, but has a homey feeling to it that other dorms do not. It's apartment style with 2 beds, 2 baths, a kitchen and living room. One of my main complaints it that the laundry room is pretty far and so is the trash chute. The elevators often get stuck but there are many of them so this isn't that bothersome.
