South Hall Dorm Reviews at GWU

The cleaning staff are very sweet and do an amazing job. The location is great it's really close to everything. The A/C doesn't work great but that's ok. The main door to my hall can be noisy but that's ok too. Overall it's been a good experience.

Dorm has large suites with 4-5 people, but having one’s own room and in unit laundry is a huge plus. Location is fine as it is close to student support services, on the edge of campus, but further from metro stop and cafeteria.

It’s a traditional dorm. It’s not bad, but it does get and stay kind of noisy, the bathrooms get really messy and they don’t get cleaned until the weekend. Other than that the common area stays pretty clean but the water bottle fillers are slow and when one of them went out it didn’t get fixed for a while.

It was a quite peaceful dorm though some people were loud, but overall a good experience. Classes are a bit far from the dorm so if you don't like to walk a lot Southhall wouldn't be idle. But if you like peaceful dorm and no party or any sort of outer disturbance than it is the best option. If you get lucky you might even have a single room which is the best.
