Altman Hall Dorm Reviews at Hastings College

I have only been here a very short time but it already feels like home. Everything is clean and convenient. I love that we can do laundry in the basement at no extra charge. Altman is a safe place and students are respectful noisewise!

I have not had the best experience at Altman Hall. My dorm room was 90+ degrees for multiple weeks and there was nothing done about it. It was so hot I could not sleep and even the candy I had in my room was melting. There was also a problem with mice in our hall and you could easily find mice droppings in the basement. The showers have mold in the corners and the soap and paper towels are never restocked. I had filed multiple noise complaints about people in our hall who were running around and yelling at 2 AM & the problem has yet to be solved. Overall the building is unclean, old, not up to date, and I do not recommend living in it.
