The Netherlands Residential Complex Dorm Reviews at Hofstra

I enjoy living in the Netherlands! Its a great way to meet other freshmen, and get to know students in the same or similar majors to you (since each of the houses are LLCs). The communal areas (lounge, kitchen, laundry) are well upkept, and never feel too crowded. The main downside is there are very few campus buildings (academic or food) near the Netherlands, so you will have to factor in a longer walking time, and plan when to eat more than if you lived in the high rises.

Overall, was a clean environment with lots of positive vibes surrounding it. I felt safe in the area because of Public Safety. It was also a nice experience because of the people and staff. The complex is beautiful and well constructed.

I love the suite-style lining arrangement in the dorm. I believe that if I was dorming not during the pandemic I would have had a better experience in the dorm but I still enjoyed living there. Some of the houses have specific activities or majors living inside, so I would have been able to travel NYC if it wasn't for the pandemic.

so far my experience at the Netherlands is very interesting the reason why is because I get to meet so many new people from different walks of life. I also like the fact that I have three other roommates so I'm never alone
