It was overall a good experience, nothing too bad or too good. The staff was pleasant, and the rooms were good-sized, just a bit outdated. Cleanliness really depends on the other students not the cleaning staff, however, the staff were on site regularly and did make a big difference. more

I enjoyed living in Howard Plaza Towers, East. The students were helpful and friendly. The RAs were kind and always ready to help us. Security was good but not very good enough. It has a whole food nearby and lots of fast foods too. more

HARRIET TUBMAN QUADRANGLE (REOPENING FALL 2019)

Quad is definitely a sisterhood living dorm. Everyone is friendly and willing to help in anyway possible. The communal bathrooms aren't as bad as it may seem. You just have to get adjusted to sharing. more

DREW HALL

I stayed in this dorm during my freshmen year. I had a shared room with one other student. The rooms were quite good. However, there was no water fountain or any other supply of drinking water. I have been told that there is one now. Also, the communal bathrooms weren't really clean. more

It's not a bad experience. The lounges and rooms are nice. The bathrooms are a nice size. Our washers and dryers constantly break. It seems they don't make it a priority to get them fixed in a quick manner. more

College Hall South

Living at College Hall South overall has been incredibly enjoyable. It is a co-ed dorm with most rooms having two students. Dorm rooms have individual bathrooms which I am very grateful for since I was dreading communal ones. The dorm is often quiet but still has a sense of personality. more

Charles R. Drew Hall

At Howard University any who gets put into Drew Hall or you tell that you are in Drew Hall their is not a good thing said about Drew Hall. Their are things always breaking their are no paper towels ever in the bathroom their are generally urine on all toilets. The urinals are leaking fluid by handles a good amount of the time . The location is in the corner of campus so unless you are a athlete its so not convenient because everything is a walk including classes, food and so many other things. With the ratio of girls to guys of their being a 1:3 ratio of their being 1 guy for every three girls the guys are guarantied to get shafted on housing getting put in the dorm where nothing works or having things being older than the turn of the century. Like when you come to Howard you are almost guarantied to be in Drew Hall and also on weekends their is only one cafateria open and its on the other side of campus and its below the other dorms like CHN pretty much gaurenteeing that if you are Drew everything is miserable. more

Cook Hall is like a family to me. Being away from home in college, you look for that at college in a way and Cook Hall definitely provides that for me. I am grateful I got placed in that dorm, and that I can call it my home. more

College Hall at Howard University

it was great at times and frustrating at others. I had a lot of fun just be weary of peoples attitudes and you should be fine. The RAs will either help you or they wont, just be on top of your stuff so that things go the way you want them to. more

I am Sophomore living in Off Campus Housing that I love. While it can be a little inconvenient to no longer be living on campus, I appreciate having a free shuttle to ride back and forth to school. Having my own bedroom and bathroom is also a major bonus, along with having a full kitchen and washer, dryer. more
