This is 100% the BEST dorm to live in at JMU. It is always clean, no matter where you go. Staff members and hall advisors are all super nice. Living in Paul Jennings Hall is like living in a 5-star hotel.

The experience a student will get at Jennings Hall all depends on what the resident likes. For example, Jennings has a hall style instead of suite style like some of the other residences. Jennings is both a freshmen and upperclassmen dorm, which some may or may not like. Personally, it is nice to be able to talk to people who are not just freshmen. Another great thing about Jennings is that there is a parking lot right out front, making it a short walk from the building to the car. Other than that, the people are great and super friendly.

Paul Jennings Hall is a nice dormitory where many students have compared the dorm to a hotel. I entered Paul Jennings as an upperclassman so bear in mind that this is in the perspective of what I experienced in the upperclassman part of Paul Jennings. The common room area is furnished nicely and since the dorm is located on a hill you can get great views of Harrisonburg depending on which floor you are on. Students aren't normally loud but there might be occurrences where you can hear people from other floors coming from the stairwell. The dorm offers air conditioning and heating, however, you have very little control over the temperature in your dorm room. For upperclassman, there is a residential parking lot right out front so it is easy to access your car. Paul Jennings does offer single rooms in the dorm which is great for privacy. The downside to singles is that it can get lonely since there is no roommate to interact with. The bathrooms are private meaning that the bathrooms are a sink, shower, and toilet that you can use. Mind you this doesn't mean that every dorm room has its own private bathroom. You still have to share the bathroom with other people it's just that instead of it being communal you get a bathroom to yourself.

I have enjoyed living in Paul Jennings Hall. It's a newer dorm and has a lot of amenities like laundry rooms on each floor. There are a lot of common areas where you can study outside your room and still be socially distant. And there are kitchen facilities if you want a late night snack.

Being one of the newest buildings on campus, Jennings hall is equipped with up to date living conditions. It has A/C, air hand dryers, a kitchen, microwaves, etc. The cleaning staff is very thorough and all of the amenities are always clean. The rooms themselves are quite spacious and are very well laid out. The dorm its self is quite far from main campus, however there is a bus stop right outside the dorm if you don't feel like walking. Personally, I don't think the walk is that bad but on colder or rainy days I have used the bus.
