Fitzpatrick Dorm Reviews at Jacksonville State

The environment is pretty boring. The RA’s don’t seem like they want to get to the residents. I feel like we should have a resident get together and do activities together. There has also been loud banging upstairs. I do like the bigger closet.

Fitz is nice for incoming freshman. The location of the building is very convenient. It's close to the cafe and surrounding restaurants. It's kinda in the middle of campus (main campus) so you'll be able to experience a little bit of everyone!

Fitzpatrick is located right off the Quad so it is in a central location. University police are right across the road so the dorm is very safe. The noise level is not that bad it is really quiet on the weekends and early mornings.

My experience at Fitzpatrick hall was good despite an issue with my old roommate. But the lady in charge of housing was very understanding and had me assigned to a different room! Other than that, the people are nice, the rooms are what you look for in a dorm and the bathrooms are clean!!

Overall I would give my experience a 4/5. My only complaint is the bathrooms some females as disgusting. However the location is amazing and there is plenty of storage space for your clothes etc. Everything is within a 10 minute walk

Upon moving into Fitzpatrick, I already had ideas of what living in a dorm (with community-style bathrooms) would be like. The rooms themselves are very spacious and have a lot of storage room (closet, desk, dresser, cabinets, hooks, etc) for decorations, clothes, foods, shoes, and anything else you wish to have. The only downside to living in Fitzpatrick sometimes would be the bathrooms. Of course, there's going to be issues when adjusting from a home bathroom to sharing with 10+ other girls.
