I stayed in McAlister-Whiteside my freshman year of college. It was a new experience for me, from community showers, having a roommate, to monthly fire drills. The maintenance of the building wasn't the best due to the building being old and it being for freshman, so we got the short end of the stick to begin with.

Very friendly and family like environment. Others love to mingle and socialize here. Very open place but also safe. Campus police are always around for extra protection. This is a very nice form room but needs more criticism.
