Huntress Hall Dorm Reviews at Keene State

it was overall Wonderfull but people could do a better job keeping common spaces cleaner for all of its residence. the location is great and in the middle of campus thus great for freshman who are unsure of where things are

My experience at Huntress Hall at Keene state as a freshman in college was amazing. The Community Assistants(RA's) were great and super friendly. Kitchens and laundry rooms were super accessible, and I met some of the best friends of my life in this dormitory. It is small, but houses such a friendly and tight knit community. The only concern was some of the appliances were dated, such as the microwave and other washing machines/dryers. Other than that I wouldn't have chosen any other dorm to stay in.

I enjoy living in Huntress Hall besides the cleaning service in the bathroom. Two out of the four showers are clogged and the water over flows when taking a shower. The toilets are clogged often and the paper towel dispenser is constantly out. The cleaning service workers are also disrespectful when we use the bathroom during their cleaning time, which I understand it might be frustrating but we deserve to use the bathroom

I love huntress because of the people but the experience with the cleaning service has been terrible. They are rude and swear so much when someone is trying to use the bathroom. The toilets always are clogged and two of the four showers have disgusting hair in it. The cleaning service doesn’t disinfect any surface areas or cleans the showers. They only take the trash out and never refill anything. I am truly disappointed

I think Huntress is probably the best freshman dorm option for KSC students. The location is perfect as you’re incredibly close to the academic buildings and not too far from the student center or the dining commons. It’s also right on the quad and so you have a really nice view. The rooms are decently sized, especially the corner rooms and the common area is great. I don’t like that there isn’t AC and there’s only four washers and dryers for the entire building. Sometimes the bathrooms can get pretty messy but the staff are usually great about cleaning. Though there are some things I would personally change, I still think it’s one of the best dorms on campus. The RA’s are also really great.

I love living in Huntress, but the bathrooms have a lot of issues. For example, we run out of soap and paper towels a lot, and there are two showers that aren't properly, which eliminates 2 out of the 4 showers available on the first floor. Besides the bathroom, I love living in this building. I think its in the perfect area, and its not a far walk. All of my best friends, and future suite mates, all live on the first floor.

My experience is Huntress Hall has been great. Though I didn't have a roommate, I was able to meet several new people around campus, and especially in my dorm building. The common area usually had plenty of people in it to meet and talk to. In addition, the laundry room and kitchen within the hall were easy to navigate and use properly when needed.

It is a nice dorm with a good amount of space if you get a corner room. It is very quiet at night which can sometimes make it hard to meet new people but it's better for studying. The hall is close to Main St. and the library, which was my favorite part.
