Freudenberger House Dorm Reviews at MSU

So far it’s been pretty good, I am a roommate with my best friend and we love it. The walls are kind of thin but that’s to be expected. The shared bathrooms are not to bad its just something to get used to. Everything else I love though, the kitchen is always accessible, the common area is very open and a good place to study as well as the study room you can reserve. I reserved the room once and it was great just be careful about the rooms next to you so you don’t get a noise complaint. Freddy wasn’t my first choice but i do love the location, it’s in the middle of campus so everything is not a very far walk. You are right next to the PSU, the library, the stadiums, and the bookstore which is great.

My experience at Freudenberger House has been a great one. This dorm has so many advantages that many don't see or know when you first get here. First off, the location is great. If you stay at Freudenberger House you never have to take a long walk to get to any class. The main transportation for college students is walking, so being in a central part of campus is a big plus. Not only is the location of Freudenberger great, but so is the interior. Once you walk into Freudenberger you see our common area. This space has been a great location for my friends and I to work and have a social space within Freudenberger. A personally favorite in the common area is the piano. I love walking in and someone is playing music and filling the common area with beautiful noise. The other amenities on the first floor are also one worth mentioning. Some things you can find on the first floor are study rooms, a computer lab, laundry rooms, a recreational room, and a kitchen. Not only are the amenities downstairs nice but so are the dorm rooms. I personally think that Freudenberger House has some of the best rooms. There is so much room in them for you and your roommate. Missouri State is also so generous to give you furniture and appliances. Your room comes with a mini fridge with a built in freezer and a microwave. This saves so many students, me included, lots of money. Like I said Freudenberger's rooms are very spacious. Not only is there room for Missouri State issued furniture but there's additional room for your personal furniture. Another thing I've learned to like about Freudenberger is the communal bathrooms. While no one really looks forward to the communal bathrooms I've learned to see them as a positive rather then a negative. Think about it. You never have to pay for soap, toilet paper, or other bathroom necessities. Also, you never have to clean the bathroom which is job I personally wouldn't enjoy. The maintenance staff here at Missouri State does a great job of cleaning the bathrooms so you don't have to worry about a dirty bathroom. Overall I think Freudenberger House is a great option and one I would stay in again.

I have been living in Freudenberger House for about a month now, and it has been good. My roommate and I get along very well and like our room. It is small, but we decorated and made it a lot nicer. We do have community bathrooms but they are pretty clean, nothing nuts. The trash and toilet paper could be kept up on better but it's not awful. The location of Freddy is great and in the middle of everything.

I think that I made the right choice living here In Freudenberger. It’s in a very central location so it’s very easy for my to get around campus in a reasonable time for all my classes. It’s also a very friendly environment with the staff and people living in the building.

The dorm is a great spot for incoming freshmen. It's one of the most affordable for most and has a great location on campus. Where most hall's will be nearby each other where you can easily walk to different classes.

I’ve had a really good experience living in freudenberger. I’m very happy with the girls on my floor. Everyone is very nice and it never gets too loud or noisy. The freudenberger staff have also been very helpful. The location is great because you’re in waking distance to the PSU, Bear line, the library and all of the on campus classes.

My experience at Freudenberger House has been great so far! Everyone I have met, from students to staff, is very friendly and helpful. It has been fairly easy to meet and befriend people around the House.

It was the best experience of my life and wish I could go back all the time. I would tell anyone to choose this dorm. I made so many friends in this building and it was located right in the middle of campus so eating and going to classes was very convenient.

At first I was very upset to be put in Freudenberger House but after spending a semester there, I have grown to like it. The only thing that bothers me is that the elevator is not open. I live on the 5th floor and it is often times a pain when I have to climb all the stairs with groceries or my bags if I am leaving for the weekend.

I had a good experience at Freddy. I thought it might be a challenge to have a shared bathroom at the end of the hall but in reality, it was nice. The bathrooms were clean. Pretty decent sized room as far as dorms go. Great location.
