Pierce Hall Dorm Reviews at MSU

Pierce hall was very diverse. We had lots of fun and games. Sometimes some students had too much fun and we'd hear music when we weren't supposed to. However, our hall director was very swift in getting this under control within a few minutes. We always had to swipe our ID to get in, safety was priority here. It was about a 3 minute walk to Bolin Hall where all my classes are. I loved living here!

As for my experience in Pierce Hall, I would say it has been satisfying. It is located next to the student center where you can get or purchase lunch. The staff members who works there are very kind and considerate towards the students.

Last semester I lived on-campus with a roommate it was nice. The room is separated to where you each have your own space if needed. This semester I'm living by myself on-campus, and this also nice as well. Our RAs are friendly and there is a lot of them, so you'll always have help if needed.

I don’t mind residing here at all. I was shocked to see that trig was seemingly nicer despite it being the same price as Pierce. I wish I wasn’t on the 3rd floor but I have a nice and quiet roommate and people are friendly.

I don’t really enjoy living in pierce hall but I can’t afford a nicer dorm. The workers are okay but the hall director, Lauren, is very rude and I try to avoid her a lot because of it. I get super anxious at my dorm and it was really disgusting when I moved in. I was shocked, especially because of Covid. But my dorm turned out pretty cute after I deep cleaned.

Overall not a bad experience. The staff are fantastic but the student population definitely made it hard to stay there. Sadly that is kind of the theme for Pierce that the staff try very hard to make it a comfortable environment. But, from personal experience, there's a serious disregard of respect for neighbors.

My experience at pierce hall is actually pretty amazing. The staff and the community is super nice and has a home type vibe to it. It is an old building so the restrooms are a little worn down, but the maintenance staff and the cleaning crew takes good care of it.

Pierce Hall has so far been good to me. The way the rooms are set up you get just enough privacy from your roommate if you need it. There are bathroom assignments so if you a restroom, they are usually open for you.
