Ernest Calderon Hall Dorm Reviews at NAU

I had a wonderful experience at Ernest Calderon Hall! The staff was always so nice and was the most pleasant housing area to live in. It was always clean and tidy in all of the common areas. I would recommend this dorm housing to everyone!

As long as you have a good roommate that can help clean the bathroom you should be fine. It’s also nice to have a roommate you have been friends with and could get along for long periods of time. I like the location of the Hall because it’s right in the middle of the whole school.

All the staff was nice but my heater in my room didn't work and they couldn't fix it. My suitemates were disgusting. My bathroom shower tile had mold on it when I arrived. Everyone was always yelling in the halls or outside the halls - it was just a noisy place to live

Overall average experience! I wish there weren't boogers on my wall when I initially moved in though :(( The hall is a suite style dorm so you get your own bathroom which is great. I also wish they maintained the washing machines and dryers a bit better since they constantly break :(

I was dreading being in a dorm room. I hated the idea of it. After moving in, though, it was better than I was thinking. I enjoyed how close I was to the dining halls, and having my own bathroom, and how quiet it was. I almost never heard anyone in the balls.
