While Bixler Hall is great for its proximity to classrooms, using doubles instead of the "suite style" of dorms is a great turn-off. There are pros and cons to each dorm hall but when talking about dorms on campus, a lot of people dislike bixler hall and I feel that is extremely warranted

It is very clean and very quiet. Students are always in the common room so itβs a great chance to make new friends. As well as hear what other students are doing to keep busy. The RAβs also come into the common rooms every once in awhile and talk to the students and get to know us more.

I am living here my freshman year and I love how close everyone is. The only problem is that this hall is the only one that has communal bathrooms. Honestly, I know this cannot be changed, but it really does suck. The rooms are a good size, though.

I had the typical freshman experience living at Bixler considering it was a freshman building. It was fun and I was able to make friends there easily. The only complaint I have would be sharing a room with two other people.
