Gerber Hall Dorm Reviews at UNH

I was comfortable in my living space and I loved the suite style living environment which prevented me from having to take a special trip to the bathroom. However, I wish the staff was more experienced to handle various roommate situations and disagreements when it came the time to do so. I am also hoping that the new staff this coming school year can ensure that the hallways are quieter because believe it or not, the other residents in my building were loud and made weird noises because they apparently didn't understand that the hallways echo, but it was still very annoying when I needed some peace and quiet in my dorm.

It is clean, in a good spot, and the suites are big with room and everyone is nice. I enjoy Gerber hall, it is one of the best halls I have been inside this year because of the space, cleanliness, it is on the quad, and the people.

Gerber Hall is a first-year coed dorm. One dorm room is connected to another dorm room with an in-between common room and bathroom that is shared. It's perfect for first-years because you get one roommate and then two other suitemates! It was nice being able to meet a group of people right at the start of moving in because it's not always easy meeting people, especially when you know no one. It's located right in the middle of campus, so the walks to other buildings on campus all take about the same time. It's been wonderful living in Gerber Hall.
