Grant C Dorm Reviews at NIU

Loved it honestly. It was my first time on a college campus (other than college tours) and it couldn’t have been better. The rooms was spacious and the bathrooms were clean. Everyone was respectful and it was peaceful and quiet. Only thing I hated was that there was no cafe in my building but it was two close by so it wasn’t that bad. Overall my experience there was great, would high recommended.

The campus was an awful sight to observe. NIU was dirty & treated poorly by its students. Through my entire expertises through the year, I felt uncomfortable and disgusted on how my peers treated the campus. No one cared about the beer bottles or vodka drinks.

I just moved to grant after living in Stevenson C and it’s way better than I thought. I stay on the 12 floor and my RA seems real nice. I stay in my room mostly but sometimes I go see my friends and do homework together. The room space is big and it’s usually quiet I just wish I’d be able to do more here but Covid prevent a lot that.

Grant is taking the necessary precautions in order to make the students the safest they can be despite the pandemic. I have had a lovely experience with the staff and everyone on the floor in general!
