New Hall East Dorm Reviews at NIU

New Hall East is expensive, but it is worth the money if you have it. Overall it was clean and safe. The dorm was quiet and is very new. Everything is in great condition including, the beds, desks, closets, bathrooms, and fridge. This dorm includes a minifridge and there is a common room with a microwave and sink.

I found New Hall East to be very quiet and a great place to get homework done. The room was a good size and had a lot of storage. The bathroom had a shower that my roommate and I shared which was very convenient. The only issue that I had with living at New Hall East was that sometimes it seemed like the cleaning staff forgot to remove the garbage each week. At one point many bags of garbage were being pilled on top of one another. Other than that, I thought it was a very nice residence hall and I am very thankful for the time that I spent there this past semester.

Its pretty decent. I love the bathroom and vanity area, gives my own sice of privacy. The actual rooms are pretty small but mangable. The dining hall food is okay. Highly would recomend to my frineds but pretty expensive.
