Burton Hall Dorm Reviews at Oberlin

The dorm building is definitely old, but there's a charm to it and I have loved living there. The singles are very spacious and there are personal sinks for every dorm, which makes it distinct from every other dorm building except Crosby. The lounge was updated this year and is gorgeous, and the bottom floor is filled with GreenSpace Housing and people dedicated to helping the environment and making our campus greener. The location is ideal to get just about everywhere on campus quickly, and it has fields on both sides for relaxing outdoors when the weather is nice.

Burton is a wonderful dorm full of students interested in doing their best academically. It is on a campus and only a short walk from all classrooms and a number 9f local attractions. I would recommend this doorman for anyone who doesn't mind living with a few roommates to a shared common area.

Living in Burton provides an experience that is similar to living with roommates, giving that independent feel and learning experiences. I've had no issues while living there, as it is quiet and an authoritative figure is present when needed. The dorms are a good size for four people and all of the utilities provided assist with the concept of living on our own.

Because of everything that happened with Hurricane Laura, I only got to stay in my dorm for a little while, but while I was there, I loved it. It was quiet, and clean, and the other residents were just as lovely as you'd please.

Everyone is very friendly. The rooms are very spacious. The Oberlin custodial staff keeps the dorm clean. They are a friendly group of people. The only problems I have had here are the bathrooms constant stench and the one day the fire alarms kept going off through the night.
