Baxter Hall Dorm Reviews at PBA

Baxter hall, in my opinion, is perfect for underclassmen (women) to get that experience of the college dorm life. I loved my roomate and my suitemate (still do). First tem you do have a curfew, but It is quite late and it helps build more of a discipline for still focusing on classes. The location is in the middle of campus so its close to everything. Each floor has a RA per wing. theres events monthly for socializing within the building. Everyone respects eachother.

The friendly people probably made the dorms feel better than they likely were, but Baxter is the best dorm building for first years on campus. The rooms are nice, staff responsive, and bathrooms clean.

It's a wonderful set up but it is not the best maintained. My roommate and I had to move after our bathroom ceiling was filled with mold. Compared to the other dorms, the common room has nothing in it.

I have been able to make meaningful relationships with the other residents. Laundry rooms are somewhat in an inconvenient area but are manageable. The kitchen is fully updated and clean. The common rooms are very spacious and can hold a large group of residents.

Baxter Hall felt like it's home away from home at PBAU. The hall has friendly staff at the front desk, and they're always sure to cater to your needs. If you forgot your key, or simply want to chat they're there. Baxter hall is also walking distance from the other halls, and about a 15 minute commute away from the beach.

My experience at the Baxter Hall has been great. I really enjoy coming to my dorm room after class. My dorm room is very roomy and clean. Sometimes I do hear the garbage truck at 5:00am but that’s ok. I have a really great roommate and we get along very well. It’s been a great experience so far. Also it is close to everything.

I love Baxter because of the location, it is close to the cafeteria, library, the gym and my classes. They are about safety and every week staff comes to clean the common areas and the bathrooms. Baxter has a homie feel to it, and I have friends in the same building so going to their room is convenient.
