Mary Lyon Hall Dorm Reviews at Plymouth

I had an amazing freshman experience living in Mary Lyon. It was super close to all my gen eds that I had to take. It also was a three-minute walk to Woo which is one of our dining halls. Also, I had an amazing RA who still keeps in contact with me and I have asked him multiple questions each semester about teachers and what not.

I have only been living in Mary Lyon for two weeks but I enjoy it. There are many easily accessible exits so I feel confident everyone will be able to get out safely if there is a fire (drill or not). There are camera's in the hall which help me feel safer. There is not a lot of destruction to property in this building. It is one of the older buildings on campus so there is no Air Conditioners meaning it does get pretty hot during the last few weeks of summer. I like the location of this res hall, it's right in the middle of campus so it's like a five minute walk (or less) to any academic building.

the bathrooms and facilities were horribly taken care of by other students, but the maintenance worker was great. location is good for stem classes, and it's right next to the dining hall. it never got too loud, but it can be at times.

I loved my time at Mary Lyon, the students who lived there are nice and quiet but there’s also some loud ones that are welcome to talk to you. We have a sense of community and look out for the well-being of others.

I loved it. amazing location, always quiet and a very welcoming community. there were always activities going on run by the CAs that were fun and helped my to make friends in the building. these events were also the reason I met my now best friend and future roommate
