I attended Point Park from 1994 - 1998. During my Freshman Year, I lived in the only Residence Hall on campus (It was on Wood Street). I lived in a Single Room on the 13th floor. The building was once a hotel, and there were some really interesting and scary stories about ghostly experiences in the dorms. To add to the intrigue, our Mortuary Science students worked on real cadavers in the basement of the building! We absolutely made some late night rounds up and down the halls of the dorm waiting for something spooky to happen! Some students said there was a ghostly "Shuffler" that would walk through the rooms at night, and I would swear a friend and I heard it late one night in my room!
It was amazing to live right downtown, to see the snow falling from way up on the 13th floor, and to explore all that Pittsburgh has to offer, from awesome dining to exciting events, concerts, music, and nightlife. I will never forget my experience living in the dorms at Point Park!
