Honors College & Residences South Dorm Reviews at Purdue

It has been great. This feels like almost a hotel at times. If you can apply to the honors college, it is guaranteed spectacular housing and location. The only complaint I have is the noise level on the weekends because no matter where you are in the building, there are frat and sorority houses across the street. It is worth this for the weekend to have at max a 15 minute walk to anything on campus.

I really enjoyed my time living in the honors college. I loved the bigger dorms and the option of the private bathrooms on each floor. I also loved the friends I made while I lived in the dorm! My roommate is also pretty amazing too.

I love how many opportunities there are provided to residents at the Honors College. I like having the ability to meet with advisors and receive academic support, whether it is through mentorship programs or peer support groups, I feel like I am able to thrive and succeed here.

I love living at Honors College and Residences South. The location is great and the rooms are much nicer than most Purdue dorms. Plus they’re air conditioned! We’ve lofted our beds and it works great because the ceilings are so high, so we never have to worry about hitting our heads, and my roommate and I have a ton of extra floor space.

Very quiet dorm that is close to academic campus and great for studying (almost too quiet, more academic focus and less social focus). The dorm is relatively clean but there were sometimes issues with the water temperature.

Honors college South are great dorms. Nice rooms, good set up, clean and updated bathrooms, air conditioning, and lots of common areas. I love living here and would recommend them to anyone who is interested.

It's pretty nice. Sometimes the neighbors sing karaoke VERY loudly and sometimes the bathrooms are in a questionable state of cleanliness. Other than that, it's fine though. It has a good location, the common areas are pretty nice, and the RAs are pretty relaxed. The elevators are huge and the stairs are in a somewhat convenient location. The laundry room is pretty nice too, but the basement is creepy.
