Merriam Hall is very clean and the restrooms have just gotten redone. The restrooms are very nice, good privacy, and the toilets are sometimes a bit broken when flushing. The rooms themselves are the biggest freshman dorm rooms. Every room gets a sink, and the standard desks, closet, and drawers. The rooms also have an AC that can be controlled by residents. The hall is very clean and quiet. However there is not much of a community in the building. Everyone is either in their rooms or hanging out in other halls with their friends. There is one huge common room in Merriam but it is not used as often as it should be.
