It was formerly a Marriott hotel, over 2 decades ago before it was purchased by RIT, making it comparable as such. It's a few miles from campus but there are free shuttle buses, and bicycling is doable if you really want to.

I was awful, I left after a month because my ceiling leaked all over my electronics and bed and the school did nothing but vacuum up the water. Along with this the room smelt like mold all the time. I would not recommend.
