Sol Hueman Dorm Reviews at RIT

The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear anyone around you if they're loud enough. I could hear a conversation from another room that wasn't even next to my own room. Sometimes the common room and bathrooms will be pretty messy if people don't pick up after themselves.

The location of the dorm building is perfect with access into the tunnels and with sol underground, but rooms are quite small and building very old with what seems even older carpet in the dorm rooms. bathrooms are tiny but usually clean but also quite old

There's no Air Conditioner so it gets very hot during the few weeks of summer we have. A few quads don't have control over the heating so it gets hot then as well, but it wasn't the worse place to be in for the first year of college.

I lived in a cramped common room that was crudely converted to fit 4 people on the 7th floor with no air conditioning. Besides the less than ideal living situation, the overall dorm was alright. One of the walls in the common room is made up of only windows that overlooked a courtyard. The view during the changing of the leaves in the fall and snowy winter nights were breath taking.
