Wilder Towers Dorm Reviews at U of R

I loved living at Wilder! However, this is the building where all sororities (or it might be almost all) live, so it can get quite noisy when they party or hang out together. One thing that really made Wilder awesome for me was the renovated bathrooms. The shower was spacious enough that you could shower, dry, and change all in the same space, plus there were two sinks available with decent counter space.

I was placed in a single room within a 6 person suite at Wilder for my sophomore year of college. They had just renovated the bathrooms a few years prior and I have to say, it was GORGEOUS ! I loved the gray tiles on the floor and the white tiles of the walls. The bathrooms were aesthetically nice while also being very easy to clean. The shower was my favorite - it was extremely spacious so that one could take a shower and get dressed within the same space. My room itself was a little on the small side, with very average-looking furniture compared to the furniture and single room size of hill court, but it was still just enough space for me. I definitely had enough room to store all my things (including my kitchenware), and I had a nice view of the river from my room as well. The living room area of the suite also had a very nice view and came with a sofa, a table, and four chairs. It was so much fun getting to just chill with my suitemates there. We even had a TV which we put on top of the heater and watched shows/movies all the time. It was so cozy and nice overall!
