Zura Residence Hall

I feel that my experience was an overall good one at Zura. There were a few bumps in the road though. For instance, the hot water went out a few times. I met a lot of good friends there and loved the location. more

Tenochca Residence Hall

Dorms at Tenochca are mostly new and renovated. I've never had an issue with the A/C system and everything is kept clean, for the most part. Tenochca offers lots of resources and study/common areas for students. The dorm hosts free events and entertainment for students, in order to provide them with a break from their studies. more

Tepeyac Hall

Overall, tepeyac hall was convenient and a nice building to live in. The triple security to get into your specific suite was very nice and helped me feel safe in a new city for college. The halls were very clean and the study rooms felt comfortable. I will say it was challenging to share a very small kitchen with six other people and have off an site laundry room. It was a good step towards independent living but I wouldn't live there again. more

My experience is great at SCP North. Quiet halls and nice community. Contrary to last year at Olmeca, it is much better. Also, personal bathrooms are very nice and lots of resources in the building. Highly recommend to future students. more

Paseo Place

Living at Paseo Place sure was an experience. It was great for a first dorm, but I for sure wouldn't live there any longer than my first year. But then again who would live in any dorm longer than they would have to. Over all it was a pretty clean place and the RA kept things respectful between dorms and floors for the noise etc. It is probably in my opinion one of the better dorms, but it is still a dorm, not a luxury apartment, so be prepared. more

Maya Residence Hall

I lived in Maya Residence Hall before the renovations (2016-2017). My experience was subpar compared to my friends in other residence halls. The quality of the residence hall did not live up to cleanliness expectations and the front desk staff was unfriendly and unhelpful but my resident advisors and academic mentors were wonderful. more

Zura

Zura was a good first-year dorm. You will almost 100% be in a triple which makes it extremely cramped. The bathrooms are not co-ed, but the sink areas are. The floors are not by gender so your neighbors will be boys/girls. It is an incredibly social dorm and was a lot of fun. There is a pool area outside along with the rooftop balcony which made it the best first-year dorm (in my opinion). more

Olmeca Residence Hall

Good location, very close to a small market where you can buy basic grocery essentials and needs. Also very close to a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Close walking distance to parking structure. Only downside is that it is pretty far from the freshmen buildings for classes. more
