I live on the seventeenth floor. We have lots of visitors due to it being on the top floor. The fire drills are a pain. I get it being an aviation major you will have to love to be in the air. It is the penthouse of Mae Smith. more

Schneider Hall

A bit noisy because of my neighbor being a very toxic relationship so the constant screaming and slamming of the doors made it a little hard to sleep, but we always had popcorn handy. The people above me also liked to arrange furniture at 2am multiple nights in the week but other than that, it was quite nice. more

The room was spacious and had a ton of closet space. The staff cleaned the bathroom every saturday. The overall experience was great! The RA kept us informed of all the upcoming tests and handled problems in a timely manner. more

It’s a great dorm with a beautiful view of campus lake. The location is very close to the dining hall. And is a five minute walk for most of my classes. As an engineering major I would recommend it to anyone going into Engineering at SIU. more

The best part of living in Steagall Hall is the fact that it is a Living Learning Community for the College of Agriculture at Southern Illinois University. This means that you are living with people that are taking the same classes as you and have similar interests to you. more

It is labeled as an apartment but it is really just a dorm with a kitchen. It is really nice if you get lucky with roommates because then the cleanliness is up to you. When you first get the room you can tell that it has been cleaned before move-in. more
