Brubacher Hall Dorm Reviews at Saint Rose

Living there was a good transition from living at home. It was a decent walk to and from campus and sometimes things would go a bit swept under the rug. My hall mates had to live with mice in their room all of second semester and there was a period where our water was turned off for about a week. Other than that it was a very nice living situation.

Brubacher is very big and beautiful, but due to the building being so old there are some heating issues and the running water can take a bit to warm up. Brubacher is off campus and in a shady part of Albany, which makes walking around a bit nerve-wracking.

Brubacher Hall at the College of Saint Rose is truly amazing. They make you feel at home. It is clean. You don’t need to share a bathroom. I consider it to be a safe environment. Lastly, it’s actually quiet here.

My experience with it was good. It is always quiet, clean, the common areas are good, the bathrooms are always clean unlike most colleges. In addition, the location is amazing, it’s very safe and has lovely staff. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Currently, Bru is fine. This is my second semester here. I just don't like that it is the furthest from campus. We have laundry rooms and a cafe downstairs which kind of compensate for that. But, it's fine.

I will enjoy Brubacher, it was a fun experience as our RA's are awesome and helped me get to know new people. They set up game nights or other fun activities in order for us to interact and to meet new friends. I would live there again, for sure!

It feels at home especially since I love my roommate. It’s a setting where I can relax when very tired, but also a great place to be able to focus and study in. I also enjoy the walk from Brubacher Hall to the campus as it’s a peaceful walk and I feel safe as there is always security and the doors are always locked unless you use your key.

The dorm was not quiet at all and people were smoking inside all the time and the college did not do anything about it. Some of the staff was very rude especially the food staff. We weren’t allowed to have any visitors.
