Hassinger Hall Dorm Reviews at Susquehanna

Everyone is really close and friendly in Hassinger Hall. The noise was never a problem but I did have a dorm at the end of the hall with only one neighbor on the right. The common room was very clean but not a lot of students used it because of COVID. The water pressure in the bathroom is really good but there was a time where we didn't really have hot water for some reason. The location of Hassinger Hall is the best on campus! Located right in between the gym and library and across the class buildings. It is far from the main dining hall but the gym and library have closer dining options so it isn't a problem.

Hassinger Hall is the best first-year hall in my opinion because not only are the residential assistants amazing and helpful and very approachable, but I feel safe and at home, I personally am not sure about other first-year dorms but Hassinger just feels right.

Although Hassinger is quiet and the people here don't get into trouble, it is rather difficult to make friends with people with who you do not have a class because each person has very different interests and we usually keep to ourselves. On the other hand, the Resident Assistants are friendly and readily approachable to give help wherever needed.
