Its a nice dormitory, but it can get loud at night at times, the beds are okay and they can house two students in the rooms. They have TVs, vending machines, and okay showers, with good pressure and hot water

Throughout the year, I was satisfied with the size of the room, people I lived around, and the room advisors. Everyday I was aware of the fun activities with the posters on the walls. Meeting new people is easy in a place like Smith Hall.

It is very nice and sociable, but if you like to be by yourself it is nice for that too. My RA first semester and current semester have both been very nice and are there to help if you need help. Also Public Safety is very fast if you are locked out.

Typical first year dorm. Most first year students are placed here. It can be very loud on the weekends but normally weekdays are fairly quiet. Students blast music or are walking around the halls a lot on weekends.

Smith was a great first hall. My neighbors were great and I became friends with a lot of them. The bathrooms were small, but it worked for how many girls there were on my side of the hall. Some nights were a bit noisy though.

Smith Hall is coed by room so if that bothers you, try to get into Reed or Aikens. It is also the largest residence hall on campus and is freshmen only minus the RAs. The RAs are generally nice. The hall can get loud at times, but I don't really know because I have only been there with COVID restrictions.

Very loud often times because it's all first-year students who know each other well. Many students are often awake during midnight to do random things. I don't really like how the bathrooms are together including showering. But otherwise the common rooms are neat.

The RA's are very nice and the housekeeping works every day to make sure the bathrooms are cleaned. One negative is that people do not seem to take their clothes out of the washing and drying machines. The first-floor common area has a pool table, a faith room, and a seminar room with a printer across. There are also 2 laundry rooms. The second-floor common room has a TV. The third-floor common room has a ping-pong table and a kitchenette (microwave and fridge) while the first floor only has a microwave. The first floor and third have vending machines.
