Eccles Living Learning Center Dorm Reviews at SUU

The dorms were very nice, there just wasn't much activity or life at the dorms. It's been better living off campus. The people who lived there were also not great people and always caused drama for no reason.

It was a great place to live for a freshmen, there were lots of people and activities that allowed me to meet people and make friends! The Kitchens and living areas made these dorms nice to stay in as well.

Best experience I have had. Close to campus and not much of a walk. The space is perfect. The activities they planned for students were very fun and got to make some great friends and memories. This is the place you will want to be in.

I had a great experience living at Eccles at SUU. Each dorm apartment holds six people. the kitchen and living room area is plenty big for all six of you to be in it at the same time. plus have friends over and not fell to crowded!

Living in Eccles has been pretty quality. It is my first time living in a college dorm and my first time living away from home. I really like my RA, she has been very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Eccles to new students

I had struggled living with roommates. I lived with 5 other girls and they were not very clean. I had to make a chore chart in order to keep the dorm somewhat clean. I get that we are all busy, but not keeping areas clean is very disrespectful. I also almost got into a fight with a roommate because she barged into my room saying I was being to loud when I was sitting in my room watching Netflix. Other than those minor bumps in the road I loved living so close to campus, and having such easy access to go to any sporting events on campus made it all worth it.

It was good as a freshman student because we had our own kitchen and very open living space, we only had 6 roommates so it was not very crowded, which was also nice. It was super close to campus too. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that you had to pay extra to stay over winter break.

Living in the Eccles dorms was really good for my first year at uni. It made me, a terrible introvert, make new friends and meet many new people. My RA was always including those of us who leaned on the quiet side, making sure we knew we were always welcome at events.

I lived in Eccles A my freshman year (the honors hall). It was a good way to meet people and friends quickly, and was right across the street from campus. All the dorm buildings except for one are located around each other to make a courtyard with a volleyball court in it. Playing volleyball and inviting people to play when they walk past is also a great way to make friends.

My experience at Eccles has been nothing but good! It's a very friendly environment. My floor does activities together all the time! This has helped me to branch out and make friends I probably wouldn't have without these activities.

It's fantastic! I love my roommates and my RA, as well as how accessible campus is. It's a really good place to make new friends, as well as hang out with old friends as we have plenty of living room space for lots of people.

So far, living in Eccles has been such a great experience! I love the atmosphere of the dorms and I never feel scared or worried. I love that the dorm rooms are very spacious and the kitchens have lots of counter space.

The apartments were large and had a lot of space, which was very useful. On-campus so you can get to class and be involved easily. The only problem I had was with the staff - they often treat you unkindly and have unrealistic expectations.
