Living Center Southwest Dorm Reviews at SVSU

I'm so excited to share an efficiency with my new friends! We have enough space and I love having a kitchen in my dorm to make some breakfast or quick meals. My dorm feels like an apartment and I love that boys and girls live on the same floors.

LCSW is an extremely nice for a college living space. We have full kitchens and bathrooms in our dorms which makes living during covid a lot easier and safer. The dorms are Coed which allows for a lot more diversity than the average college.

The main issue seems to be how loud it is all the time and when talking about it with the RA you are told to handle it your self. The other issue I've encounter was a student requesting a room transfer got assigned to my room with out any prior heads up.

living center southwest is a very nice building to live in, very nice and up to date. feels like home away from home. it is very clean and quiet the people that live in the building are very friendly, and the RA's always make sure we are all comfortable

I have stayed in the Saginaw Valley State University dorms all 3 years being there. Southwest was the first placement that I was given as a freshman and it was definitely a deal-breaker for my love of SVSU. I stayed in one of the 5-8 person dorms with 6 girls for a year and it went SUPER smooth. I highly recommend ANY of the dorming options at SVSU as they are amazing!

It was very nice and convenient and I enjoyed it a lot. I think the best part was how close it was to all of my classes and it made everything a lot easier. The laundry was included when in previous years it was not included in the price.
