The Lofts Dorm Reviews at SVU

It was pretty good for my 1st year at SVU. We each had our own space. It didn’t have a kitchen but that’s is because it was like a dorm-like setup. We had our own bathroom within the dorm so that was nice.

Loved living there. I spent lots of time in the common areas playing ping pong, watching movies and doing homework. It was a great place to meet nee people and hang out with friends. The only down side was that it was placed on top of a huge hill we had to climb multiple times a day to and from class.

It is great for freshmen who don't want to cook. The stairs up to the Lofts can be a bit intense after a long day, but sometimes you just need some challenges. I know the building is Co-ed now and houses a lot of athletes.

I love living in the Lofts! It’s on top of a hill so it’s a bit of a walk but it is totally worth it for the sense of community that you get while living there that just isn’t present in the other forms on campus.

My experience at The Lofts has been very satisfactory. At times it may get a bit loud, or a bit messy (what college dorm doesn’t?). For the most part it is a clean, nice environment. I have really enjoyed the people in The Lofts as well.

The Lofts are located not all that far from campus. There are stairs for the walking distance of a hill; sometimes the stairs can feel like a burden but they help keep me fit. The Lofts has a parking lot but it is quite small. The common areas ate quite nice and people love to hang out in them to take a phone call, study, watch tv, or play a game. The restrooms as far as I can say are quite nice in the room and in the common area and seem to be kept clean in the common area I go to. Even though the common area on my floor can get messy at times it also has vending machines, a sink, and a microwave. It can be noisy at times but it is not too bad. The people overall seem great and nice to get along with. If you are looking for a dorm I would recommend staying here.
