Flint Hall Dorm Reviews at Syracuse

I had a great time when I was at Flint Hall. A bonus is that it's conveniently close to the college. Climbing many flights of stairs instead of taking the bus may be viewed as a disadvantage by some, but it may also serve as a regular exercise routine. There are private bathrooms in the dorm, however you may have to coordinate your morning showers with the janitor's cleaning schedule. Although rowdy college students might occasionally disturb the calm, especially after parties, Flint is normally a pleasant dorm. Sadly, there are moments when the restrooms may grow really untidy. Positively, just one other dorm on campus has a grocery shop and a late-night snack bar in the basement, which makes Flint a special benefit.

I stayed in Flint Hall my freshman year and it was a solid dorm to live in. The staff and cleaning people were really nice and I liked talking to them. But the other students could be very dirty at times. Really appreciated the pod bathrooms.

Flint Hall has been home for the past few months, only complaint is students leaving the bathrooms a mess. Overall the energy is good and it is a pretty safe environment. Not the place for you if you don't want to climb stairs.

It's not bad for a freshman dorm! Rooms are a reasonable size and bathrooms are private. The walk to/from campus can suck because there's over 100 stairs to conquer every day. However, once you get up to your dorm, you're all set. There's a full dining hall, gym, café, and convenience store that are all accessible through underground tunnels (VERY useful in the winter.)

Living in flint hall as a freshmen wasn’t the most convenient. The dorm is located on a hill and I had to climb a lot of steps after class to get to my dorm everyday which does get tiring. It also does start to feel isolated from the rest of campus and the bathrooms were very disgusting. The maintenance was a1 though and graham dining hall is one of the best on campus.
