Live Oak Hall Dorm Reviews at UC Davis

Live oak hall was a great dormitory for students in the animal science majors, it was right next to the college of agricultural sciences advising center, it was also right next to all of the biological science labs and animal farms. Live oak was also right in front of the arboretum where you could enjoy nature or study outside when the weather was nice.

I loved my time living in Live Oak and truly miss the community. In March of my freshman year, we were sent home due to the coronavirus. While I only spent 5 months in Live Oak, I was able to make authentic relationships and meet my closest friends. There was always someone around. That's what I loved the most. I never felt alone or isolated when in Live Oak. In high school, I never felt a part of a group and often felt out of place. Students down the hall became family. I miss spending time with others and meeting new people more than anything. I am hopeful I will get to live in the dorms again (once coronavirus is under control).
