Northwest Dorm Reviews at UConn

I stayed in Goodyear which is near the front facing the Gant Science Building. I really enjoyed the location. It was not hard to get to my classes. The communal bathrooms were alright for the most part. It stays very clean majority of the time. There would be a few occasions where there would be residents, but the dorm is pretty small so it isn't too bothersome.

In comparison to the dorm I resided in freshman year, Northwest is an upgrade in terms of cleanliness, room quality, location, and the bathrooms which are more spacious. My experience has been positive and I have been surprised at the status of the dorm. Along with this, the staff and maintenance do an excellent job at maintaining Northwest and keeping it up to par.

I very much enjoyed my experience here. It is newer and much cleaner than some of the other dorms (and has elevators). This is definately the best underclassmen dorm and it close to center campus as well as the bars. You will find a variety of students here
