Lothian Dorm Reviews at UC Riverside

my experience at lothian at university of california riverside was as best as dorm life can be expected. The food was actually really good. It had a wide variety of selections. I felt safe at the dorm which was really important for females especially.

I really like Lothian other than the fact that it does indeed have an ant problem that needs to be fixed. It is very social and I enjoy the sense of community I have here. A perk that Lothian has over other dorms is the connivence of the Glenmoore Market that is right outside.

When I moved into my dorm, I was sad to find out that I had the very last room at the end of the hall. This dorm room is different from every other room in the hall because it has loft beds which meant that I would have to climb up to my bed and my desk was underneath. This was my main critique but there was more pros that made my experience great. Give yourself a chance to get to know your hall mates and especially your roommate/s and you'll have a great experience. Whatever dorm you get, just make the best of it.

East Lothian was relatively new compared to other dorms during my freshman year in UCR. East Lo was very cool and I actually enjoyed my time there because I got to meet nice and friendly hall mates, who ended up becoming my current house mates. East Lothian is very comfortable ,the bathrooms are all clean, the common area has a T.V and place to play games, and plenty of space. There is a scottys in the first floor and there is also a pool table, exercise room, and even study room, and computer room.
