Marycrest Dorm Reviews at UD

My experience in the Marycrest dorms was not as good as I thought it was going to be. Students were not considerate of others at night, the bathrooms needed lots of fixes, and some RA’s didn’t care about the well-being of their residents.

Overall the location of Marycrest is great. The rooms are a great size and having the dining hall on the first floor is really convenient. Cleaning staff is usually great and the bathrooms are cleaned most days.

My experience at Marycrest has been a very good one. This is a big building but offers so much for a student such as dining halls on the first floor, laundry rooms, common rooms, study rooms, a chapel, and renovations all over the building. Everyone is close and it’s sort of like it’s own little community.

Marycrest is an a great place to get used to the college lifestyle. The size of the rooms is a big plus as it they are actually a little bit bigger than the average dorm room. In general there are really no egregious things to say about it as it is your typical dorm complex that holds a lot of students. There are days when the hallways can be loud but even those are not that repetitive and most students are very easy to get along with and are easy to befriend. So far I have enjoyed my stay.

It was a really great social environment and the size of the rooms were huge. the rooms had great storage space and the building held a lot of people. I really enjoyed living there and had a great RA, roommate, and room.

Marycrest is a great first year residence hall which let me to really feel the community of the University of Dayton when I first arrived onto campus! Marycrest has the best sunset spot in the country and has a dining hall in the residence which is great for late night snacks!

I lived in Marycrest during my first year at the University of Dayton. Personally, I believe this is one of the best dorms to live in as a first-year student. The first reason why this is the best residence hall is because it is close to majority of the building were first-year classes are held. Another reason Marycrest is the best residence hall is because of the dining hall located on the first floor. Having a dining hall in the same building as your room is really convenient - especially considering you won't have to walk to get food during the winter. Overall, my experience at Marycrest was positive.

I loved living in Marycrest! Awesome to have a dining hall downstairs, and the staff are amazing. I live in a house now, but Nancy still remembers my name! Best freshman dorm at UD if you're looking for big rooms and great community. Crest is best!

Marycrest is fantastic. Rooms are much larger than others and there is plenty of built in storage for all your stuff. Bathrooms are large and clean. Views of the campus are wonderful from our window. Others here overlook the famous cemetery where the Wright brothers are buried.

It's defiantly the best freshman dorm however we've had some water issues and many many fire alarms go off. The rooms are a very nice size, especially compared to other dorms. It's convenient to have a dining hall in the dorm however it's not the best food.
