My room is a good size and it has a great location being right across from the Diag. However, not having a dining hall or centralized AC is not great. The people I have met that also live here are typically kind and I feel safe there.

I've had a great experience - the building is slightly old, and there's no AC, but I'm a cold-natured person so that doesn't particularly bother me. The location is great, it's right in the middle of central campus - so it's close to all the academic buildings, and also to a bunch of local businesses. The best part about it is the community. Barbour is one of the all-girls' dorms, and everyone is really respectful of each other, hall events are always fun and personal, and most people are extremely nice. It's also mostly singles so you have the benefit of getting your own space but still being able to live and make friends with a lot of people in close quarters.
