The Landing Dorm Reviews at UNF

I had a great experience at the Landing. The RA's were friendly and always available. Maintenance was very responsive to any requests and they constantly kept the area clean. Everyone was friendly and the location was convenient.

My experience was good. It was a very nice place to live in and very welcoming to students. I like the layout of the rooms and I like how it's close to everything on campus. I like how you don't have to walk far to a dining hall or anything.

I loved Landings! It’s perfect walking distance to my classes and to the cafeteria! They have swings, benches and tables to study and enjoy the outside view! The staff was super friendly and helpful!

Each year students entering college face one of the biggest transitions they will ever have to encounter in there life, moving into a dorm room. Most students are use to living in a house with there family and most likely having there own bedroom and own bathroom. Now as they begin college, the students move in with complete strangers, and share a bedroom and maybe a bathroom with one to three other people. Adapting to this new environment might take a lot of time and patients for this college student to adjust and feel comfortable. Finally after adapting to this new life the college students begin to enjoy this new environment.

I said in a triple room and it wasn't bad at all. Maintenance took forever to come to the dorm when my room called for the mold issues in the bathroom and did nothing for it. The closet space was pretty good if you had organizers for the closet and drawers. Honestly would recommend Landings for your first year but nothing more.

It was one of the best dorm rooms on campus, and as far as dorm rooms go I would say its also one of the best. We had a three person room with only two people so we had a ton of space. We also had our own full bathroom that was separated by a door, three closets and a sink and counter area. The bathroom did have bad ventilation and I remember a lot of crime on campus when I was living there. The maintenance people would also come in without knocking or warning whenever you sent in a request and they did not always fix what we needed. Also a lot of people found a ton of mold behind their air filters.
