Redondo Village Apartments Dorm Reviews at UNM

Redondo just as an apartment was fine. The shower drain wasn't properly installed, the plastic paneling would repeatedly fall off, and there was an absurd amount of stains on the carpet. However seeing as how multiple shootings occurred in our parking lot, I would say not very safe. My roommate's car was stolen and the police said "Yeah, it happens. There's not much we can do", also not a good look. I was almost sex-trafficked in the parking lot and security never showed up. There was a homeless person harassing students for drugs and security was "patrolling" the parking lot and did nothing. The actual building was fine, everything else made it not good at all.

So far it has been pleasant, being on the bottom floor you can hear upstairs stomping or partying a lot. There has also been a few appliance issues in the dorm ect. But they are pretty on top of it when it comes to fixing it. But overall a pretty great experience.

it's a pretty good first-year dorm room, you get a pretty decent-sized room and bathroom. I like the people that work there and the roommates I was paired with. there are a lot of activities and free snacks given throughout the school year and they allow animals now!

My roommates and I moved in just moved in and have had problems with water damage under the sink, cracks in the walls, and problems with the countertops. We have let them know about our ac and lightbulbs going out and needing to be replaced and filling out work orders for them. We picked these apartments mostly because they were 1) apartment style and we had our bathroom, and 2) that they were going to have a full kitchen. Well, the kitchen sink has water damage. At least they provided us with a broom in the supply closet.

Very quiet, everyone is respectful. I was a little bit confused about the move in and move out process, which is a bit complicated. Other than that it’s in a good area right next to a field, campus, and Central Blvd, which has many roads.

They were very clean but being on central there will always be a little bit of noise. The commons were empty for the most part but at night people would like to hang out there. The commons would get a little messy but they would typically get cleaned the next day.
