Santa Clara Hall Dorm Reviews at UNM

In Santa Clara, the staff is friendly. From RAs, to the Hall Coordinator, to maintenance and custodial, they are all extremely kind. The dorm is located right next to Laposada and the SRC desk/market which makes grabbing a quick bite to eat, or stopping by the mailbox room before class easy. It's also right next to Hokona hall on the other side of the building, which is an advantage when getting locked out of your room because you don't have to walk too far to get a spare key. Sometimes fellow residents can get a little loud from here and there, but for the most part, it's a generally not disruptive and most residents respect each other when someone asks for the noise to be kept down. Santa Clara is also a pet friendly building which has really helped me, with being able to live with my childhood cat on campus. It's also given me a lot of opportunities to meet other resident's pets!

Santa Clara Hall is one of the best dorms at the University of New Mexico. It's location and community make it a hub for safe haven, communications, and friendly vibe. I lived on the first floor and enjoyed people watching from my bed while reading. This is and will be one of my favorite college memories.

Santa Clara Hall was one of the halls that had a renovation in the dorm rooms which was nice and the view anywhere is nice. The safety of the hall could have been improved, though it was placed in a perfect spot by the dining hall which made it easier to have a late night snack and early morning visit without being too worried to cross the street or for your own safety. The dorm room also had more room than the other dorm halls available on campus. It was also conveniently placed by the student resource center and not too far from Johnson gym.

I've heard a lot about the other dorm Halls here at the University of New Mexico, nothing bad but just simply from the lighting, the dorm locations, the room temperature, and the room size, Santa Clara is the best dorm Hall to live in. Not only is it pet-friendly but it is well lit, there are Deluxe size rooms, no carpet in the rooms, community bathrooms are cleaned regularly and RAβs are very helpful.
