Palmetto House Dorm Reviews at South Carolina

I enjoyed the experience of actually living on campus as a freshman. I just wished I had a chance to pick a better roommate. But this house compared to the Magnolia house it's really safe and nice. It's big enough and nice enough for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A small-town girl who wants to live in a nice dorm would really enjoy living in the Palmetto House. I lived in a dorm myself and it was amazing having your own freedom away from home and being a young adult in America. Living here will make a young adult very happy and pleased for first-year experienced.

The AC was always cold, but i enjoyed that. Staff could be a bit rude sometimes. Parking was somewhat difficult at times. I wish housing did a better job at matching roommates. Overall i enjoyed my freshman year in the palmetto house. 8/10

Palmetto Housing is a interesting place because some days or nights you have your quite time and everyone seems to have calm down and be in there rooms but, other days it’s just wild and very loud and it’s hard to study for school when you’ve got 100s of people being so loud. It is in a wonderful area on the college I shall say.

Palmetto House is the nicest of the two housing options for freshman students. The biggest downside is that the common areas are limited and you have to clean your own suite and bathrooms which can be tricky with roommates.

It was a nice experience. It’s located right across from the new gym/ sports complex they just built. It’s also a good distance compared to the cafeteria. All of the dorms are side by side so it’s easy to visit friends.

Residing in the Palmetto House is nice especially coming in as a freshmen. I feel very safe living here, it is not too far from important buildings on my campus, the RA's are nice, and there are always events happening near my building! I would definitely recommend this housing to incoming freshmen.
