Doors need to be closed gently otherwise they slam really loudly. Communal showers lack a removable shower head, and you only get a curtain as privacy. There is only soap dispenser in each bathroom and there located very inconveniently all the way to the left or right wall, and there four sinks so you got move over to the next sink once you get some soap so that the next person can also get some soap. There is also no elevator so moving in and moving out was awful. Kitchen is very...sticky, people consistently leave dishes in the sink and never bother to put them away. Also, there's no AC and the room thermostat doesn't work. Walls are thin so you can hear conversations from other rooms, including the bathroom and even the stairway. The common area is very meh, there's only couches and 2 vending machines, and even then, the couches aren't very clean. The location isn't all that bad since it's kind of in the center of the campus, so the walking distances is shortened, all the important buildings are fairly close. Maintenance is alright considering the janitor work for the hall is all down by only one person, but because of this messes take longer to clean up. Oh yeah and residence staff consists of 1 real professional (resident director/RD) and 3 upperclassmen (resident assistants/RA), be warned though if you have any roommate disputes don't bring them up to an RA whose friends with the person you're disputing with because they will be bias.
