Horton International House Dorm Reviews at UT

It is the perfect distance from classes to the dining halls. It’s also not very busy and everyone is genuinely quiet. The common areas are nice to hangout in and the staff is extremely friendly. It is also right by a parking lot first year students are able to park at.

Everything was really great and the living space was really spacious and convenient. I liked that there was a common area as well as our two separate rooms. Everything in the dorm worked pretty well. The shower was a bit small though.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience living here. It was very clean and there was not much noise even though there were so many of us living here. The dining hall under our building was closed when I lived there, but that would be the only negative part of my experience I had while living there.

On most days, I-House was a fairly relaxed dorm room to stay in. With that being said, the cleanliness of the common areas and the bathrooms could be improved. During game days or prominent events on campus, the dorms would usually be extremely busy.

I really enjoy living on campus at Horton International House. It is one of the suite style residence halls on campus. Its around a 10 minute walk to my furthest class and a 10 minute walk the opposite direction to my favorite coffee shop so the location is perfect! I honestly was nervous moving into a college dorm, but would gladly recommend this to anyone and everyone!
