Wasn't the best for it's price but I could see why students who haven't lived alone might like it. I like that it is more of an apartment style building which makes it feel more free than a traditional dorm.

University Oaks was my first ever dorm experience. It was also the first time I lived somewhere other than with my parents. Overall, I had a great time there. The environment is welcoming and the staff is there to help in any way they can. The facilities offered by University Oaks is a blessing. I was able to have a quiet place to study and there were also places that I could be loud without worrying about bothering anyone.

This apartment complex is reasonable if you want to live on campus housing, walking distance from campus including the gym and classrooms, and don't have to pay light or gas bills. My experience so far is okay because the rooms are very small. I would also say the kitchen and living rooms are small and there is not enough space to put everything in. The laundry rooms, I have to pay $1 for each load to do my laundry which it can be crazy at times but the machines are good. I like the apartment complex and the staff there but I would say it needs to be improved in certain areas such as maintenance requests, the speed bumps, and laundry rooms.

It's very chill and it feels great because it's just like an apartment except we don't have to pay for utilities. I have three roommates and the whole place is a perfect size for four people. I think I will definitely come back next year.

I really enjoy how University Oaks is an on campus apartment. It sits on the parking lot of the recreation center and is very convenient to get to and from campus. As far as living, it isn't the BEST updated, but If you are a freshman, it will do. Also, If you did not want to buy a meal plan option, you don't have to. I like this the best because I had my own kitchen and not having a meal plan knocked off a lot of my tuition.

It was underwhelming. There wasnโt really a focus on community or student activities - everyone mainly just kept their head down. The staff seemingly only showed up to punch a clock (which, fair enough), but it was unimpressive.

This is my first semester as a college student, and I chose to dorm at University Oaks because it was the only on-campus housing choice that offered a full kitchen, my own bedroom and bathroom, and the ability to have pets. I also liked their amenities, which included two pools, sand volleyball courts, etc. Due to COVID, my semester here at University Oaks has not been the way I thought it would be. It was also not soon after moving in that I realized that the apartments across the street from me (which were considered off-campus) were not only cheaper, but also were extremely updated compared to what I have now with University Oaks. I truly realized I am wasting my money here for what they are offering. One of the only highlights of staying here is that the staff has tried to do things for the students while following COVID safety measures, like giving out free food, t shirts, or just holding small socially distanced events for us.

The close proximity to campus meant that I was never able to be late to whatever class I had on my schedule on a certain day. In addition, it allowed for extra security, campus police department, apart from the apartment security already present. In concert with this was the ability to have pets living with you when the dorms next door did not allow pets at all. The only problem was the lack of proper communication and organization from the front office staff, wether it was online services or in-person Residential Assistant interaction. Along with this problem was the extremely high rent collected from each student which totaled over $2,300 for 1 apartment unit monthly, when for the exact same price, or lower, literally across the street you could obtain a more luxurious apartment for the same price. Top advantages were the close proximity to campus and extra security presence.

University Oaks is a well priced rent, considering I'm living with three other guys. Although I live here during Covid it is not a terrible experience. The staff is helpful, and my only issue is the maintenance around here.
