Hardesty Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Tulsa

Hardesty hall was the most modern and recent hall on campus composed of two rooms joined by a bathroom. Each room would house two students. It came furnished with bunk beds for each student where the bottom of the bunk bed was a desk for that student. The main entrance to the dorm relied on student ID to gain access. The dorms were co-ed but not per shared adjoining rooms. The Hall was situated in the middle of campus making it a 5 minute walk to nearly anywhere on campus (other dorms on campus could take 10min). The common spaces were nice with a shared community fridge but people seldom used them. The inside of the rooms were very modern and with nice furnishings. There was always hot water and working bathrooms.

Hardesty Hall was a great dorm. I had it during my freshman year and lived in the freshman hall. It is the newest dorm on campus, which makes it a great option! The dorm is super nice with a nice modern style. The dorm rooms are a little smaller compared to other dorms on campus, but it is a suite style where you share a bathroom with another room. I loved the view from my room, too, and the location is very convenient. I always felt at home and safe in Hardesty! The only complaints is that the air vents were never cleaned and you could see the dust build up. Maintenance was always on time, but could be hard to contact and would leave a mess sometimes. Honestly not too bad.

Hardesty is new, extremely clean, and the people are amazing. I do wish the hours for the front desk were longer, as there were a couple times I needed something and had to come back. The walls are also pretty thin, so I could tell if my suitmates decided to party at 2am.

Overall my experience in Hardesty has been positive. I reside in a double room with a shared Jack and Jill style bathroom. The room is clean, spacious for one occupant, and well-updated. My only complaint is the shower.
