Mercy Dorm Reviews at University of Vermont

Many students enjoy the nightlife, and/or stay up late working on projects, so late-night noise is expected. The dorms are nice and cozy. They have big windows which is really great. Common areas are almost always clean or picked up.

Mercy Hall was definitely interesting. It's the only dorm on UVM campus with gendered floors. I did not know this going into it. Honestly, it wasn't that big a deal but it that's a make or break for you, just be aware.

Everything was ok (just ok) about this dorm except for the location (in a bad way) and the staff (in a good way). It is too far removed from central campus to be easily accessible, but this does create a very strong personal culture. Sometimes too strong, because the weed is never ending.

Mercy is a very run down building that is on the outermost edge of campus. The building itself has no front desk, minimal security, single gender floors and very rarely maintained. The bathrooms are also gross.
