Man we got our oven taken out and kitchen closed. People had no respect for that place it was a little insane. My experience is definitely dampened by the types of people that lived there, but overall the hall itself was pretty good. more

Laux Hall

I liked Laux Hall. It was not super active and stayed pretty quiet. I was probably the loudest on my floor. It was very inclusive and everyone was welcome. It was a scholarship dorm which included multicultural students and LGBTQ students. I met a lot of different people and overall had a great experience. The bathrooms were redone and were very nice compared to all the other dorms. I liked all the people and made some forever friends. My RA was amazing too. more

Angell Hall

Angell Hall was small, dingy and outdated. My particular room had a broken heater which took quite some time to fix. The washer/dryer was always good. I felt safe. Angell Hall was very near the cafeteria which was nice. more

Drake Hall

Personally, I love the location of Drake. It's by the main dining hall and close to the main buildings around campus. The common spaces are super helpful, have lots of seating and are nice to study in, watch tv, play cards, etc. Overall, Drake stays pretty clean in the common areas and within the bathrooms which is really nice. Everyone is pretty considerate of the noise level during night or the early mornings so that's nice! more

I stayed in white hall my first year at UWL-- I met a ton of friends and was always able to make it to class because the location was very convenient. The staff was my classmates and they were very friendly. more

It is quiet and safe, if that is your vibe I would recommend it. Also comes with a couch and a mini couch in the living room. Laundry downstairs is usually pretty quiet and the elevator works great. Also comes with a study room and game room downstairs. more

My experience at Coate is going well. I lucked out on my roommate and all of my hall mates are pretty nice. The bathrooms aren't bad and the staff are all very nice. Everyone seems to respect others' privacy and boundaries. more
