Wehrenberg Hall Dorm Reviews at Valpo

I stayed here for a year. It is decent and quiet, but it is on the edge of campus. On closer inspection there is a lot of wear and tear from previous students. It could definitely use some better maintenance

Living in Wehrenberg Hall became an experience like no other. There is always a mixture of personalities among other residents which can result in some noisy neighbors and some that are rather quiet. However, your peers within these halls make the experience all worth it. The cleaning and maintenance staff were beyond exceptional when it came to detail about their jobs. They responded promptly to most situations especially the ones that required urgent attention and throughout it all, they uplifted others with their happy spirits. The rooms within the hall are very spacious and the beds are rather comfortable but at first sight you may not be able to tell. The walls in the room however can bring down ones mood. They can make the dorm room feel like a prison cell so a recommendation would be to decorate your room.

I believe Wehrenberg Hall is one of the best dorms on campus. Despite it being outdated, I love the spacing in the rooms. I also love that everyone in Berg is respectful and keeps things clean. We have computer labs with a printer that is very useful, gym equipment if needed, and a lot of lounge areas on each floor that helps if others are using one of the areas. With all these studying rooms it helps keep you out of your room.
